History

In 2018, the committee introduced an Eagles Nest. In honour of Vic Edwards, one of only 2 Mt Coolum members to have an Albatross on our course and also a Vet, it has been named “Vic’s Eagles Nest”. Fittingly, Vic took home the prize on 23 April 2020, with an eagle on the third.

The Rules

1. When a Mt Coolum Vets player has an Eagle during a Vets "home or away” game, he wins all the balls in the nest.

2. A hole in one is not counted

3. Each home and away game, a ball will be added to the nest.

4. Eligible to Mt Coolum Vets only.

5. 10% of the nest to be distributed to each Mt Coolum Vet in the playing group, provided there are at least 10 balls in the nest. (but what sort of prick would you be if you didn't share anyway)

(for example: if a Mt Coolum player has an eagle and there are 20 balls in the nest, 2 balls go to each of his Mt Coolum partners)
